just as easy as buying the filter and a tripod (you probably already have one of those).. I suggest buying a new filter on ebay.. I got my R72 for cheap..
BTW mind sharing your workflow on your landscape photos sometime?
The only filters I have are a cir polarizer and a Neutral Density filter. The next thing I want to get is the graduated nd filter for landscapes. Then I'd like to try IR for fun! It's so cool looking. I should check out ebay. I've been buying all my camera stuff online at Amazon.
As far as workflow goes...what exactly do you mean? I am so new to all this.
You're so lucky you get to take pictures at all those cool places!
hehe everywhere i have lived had some cool place to shoot.. I guess I am lucky in that way.. but you live on the East coast.. there has to be oodles of places to shoot.. just looking at your recent um.. I am assuming Appalachian mts. shots are proof of that..
ah yes.. I have cir polarizers too.. i should probably start using them.. I find that they are good when the sun is too strong.. i try and shoot when the sun isn't a factor.. or I get around it with HDR..
workflow is just your editing process in photoshop.. the more I know the more my workflow becomes more complicated.. just wondering if you knew something I didn't
There probably are tons of places to shoot. I just have a hard time being able to go out and shoot because I have 3 kids! lol But yes, the white mountains are one of my favorite places up here. I also want to get out and get some ocean shots in maine next time I'm up in New England.
Ok. Well I don't really do much to the photos. I adjust the exposure a bit, sharpen them, maybe bring up the color a little bit. Somtimes I like to use the Nik Color Efex pro filters....especially for portraits. With the October ID I made I used the cross processing. I really like the effect it gives....
I see.. well thank you for sharing.. I find that if the base image is not composed well there isn't very much you can do to make it a good image.. hehe
Cheers!
Eric
